The weather is getting warmer which means we can now finally start wearing spring clothes!
One of my favorite spring trends are two piece sets. I just think they are so effortless, you don’t have to worry about matching because it’s already done. There are styles with maxi skirts, shorts, mini skirts, pants and pencil skirts. You name it and it’s made into a two piece! Here I show you 6 different ways you can dress up a two piece up outfit.
Certain two piece sets like this one are so cute but extremely fitted and can be uncomfortable to wear alone. I like to throw on a blouse or cover up on top.
It boosts my confidence when I am wearing something I am comfortable in. Also, knowing that one of my breasts isn’t going to pop out of my top is a win!
The Knit Sweater
In this first style I threw a really cute knit sweater over. I actually don’t remember where I got his one from. It might have been Marshall’s. But I think any knit sweater would look really cute over a two piece.
The Denim Blouse
Here, a denim blouse. Denim never goes out of style and just goes with everything!
The Black Striped Blouse
If you want to dress it up a little more, you can never go wrong with a black striped blouse.
The Tie Front Top
This tie front blouse is from another two piece with a long maxi skirt. Here I used it as a cover up. It went really went with this skirt. I am getting beach resort vibes from this one.
The Blue Blouse
This look is actually my favorite. Pictured below, you can see that it is a regular long sleeved blouse. I just left the last two buttons undone and tied up the ends into a knot. I love it!
The Pink Blouse
Another blouse. And this time a pink one. This blouse is from TJ Maxx. I did the same thing as with the blue one pictured above and left the the last two buttons undone and tied up the ends into a knot.
You really can wear any type of shoes with a two piece outfit. It should all depend on what makes you comfortable. I think sandals, high-heel sandals and sneakers go well.
Two piece sets are so versatile they are my favorite! You can dress them up or down and can’t go wrong.
